Task 11 Meeting Preparation

The objective of IEA R&D Wind Task 11, is to promote wind turbine technology through co-operative activities and information exchange on R&D topics of common interest. One way to achieve this is to gather experts in Topical Expert Meetings.

Meetings arranged in the framework of Task 11 can be either Joint Action Symposia (JAS) or Topical Expert Meetings (TEM). JAS meetings are arranged periodically while TEM are arranged once.

The Executive Committee is deciding on which meetings shall be held and the Operating Agent together with the Host is responsible for arranging the meeting. The meeting is usually planned to last for two days. In the evening between the two meetings there is usually an informal dinner.

This PM is set up in order to facilitate meeting arrangements.
